Like every designer I have a process I use to help develop an effective design solution. It is a process, much like the process used to pick out an album from a record store.

Ideate Possible Directions

Such as thinking of an artist, album or genre of music, I think of the possible directions that I could take to create an effective design solution.

Shuffle Through Options

Such as shuffling through different artists, albums or genres, I explore all of the possible directions and analyze each design solution.

Choose Which Direction

Such as picking out the best album from a wide variety of possible choices, I move forward with the best & most effective design solution.

Implement Final Solution

Such as listening to a selected album, I implement the final design solution, reflect on the outcome & repeat my entire process over again.

What I Am

It’s hard to separate yourself into percentages but I felt that these 3 categories are the areas of design that I am strongest within & most interested in.
